Embarking on his professional journey at the age of 18, Peter J. Adamson graced the stages of renowned London establishments, including The Savoy American Bar, The Dorchester, and The Ritz Hotel. Noteworthy performances at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his acapella group, All The King’s Men, further showcased his musical prowess, earning them airtime on BBC Radio Scotland.
Drawing inspiration from musical luminaries like Charlie Puth, Jamie Cullum, and Earth, Wind & Fire, Peter demonstrated his versatile talent by writing and producing his debut single, “Lady in My Mind.” This inaugural creation seamlessly blended elements ranging from retro synthesizers and 808 drum kits to vintage basses and a complete horn section.
In the early months of 2022, Peter unveiled his second single, “Body Over Mine,” which resonated on the airwaves of BBC Radio Surrey & Sussex. Collaborating with Irish West-End singer Eiméar Crealey, he arranged and produced a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “The Joker And The Queen,.” and a further collaboration and arrangement of “The Christmas Song” later that year. July 2022 witnessed the release of Peter’s most celebrated single to date, “Checkmate.”
The year 2023 marked a significant milestone as Peter initiated his own Funk/Pop band, Supatonic. The band quickly gained viral acclaim, amassing over 4 million views within its first month of existence. Branching out from a solo artist, Supatonic was formed in Peter’s residencies such as The Corinthia Hotel and The Rosewood Hotel, encouraging many to travel from far to watch them perform live.
